Exercise is not about weight loss, but feeling good, being healthy and showing the next generations how to be well.
Dr. Alex's first ride to work for 2016!
- Stand at your desk (simply raise your keyboard, mouse and screen).
- Park a long way from your destination and walk the rest of the way, including if you commute to work.
- Walk/Cycle with the Kids to school, not drive.
- Take a long walk at Lunch time either before of after your Lunch.
- Make family outings active ones, goto the pool, hiking or a new activity like Kayaking.
- Use technology like Fitbits etc and set up challenges with Friends and Family.
Ultimately I exercise to be a good role model!
So what ever motivates you, make it happen this year and the rest of your days.
